On 17th and 18th February 2023, Glo-Ray Designs and Mama Salma Foundation hosted the “I can and I will” mindset shift workshops in Blantyre- Malawi; Ndirande and Machinjiri townships. The optimistic energy felt in both places was amazing! Women spoke, danced, questioned and bravely discussed their stories and possible solutions to the economic challenges they are facing.
The workshop was initially planned 40 women, but 55 women attended it in total.
The next steps of this powerful initiative involve one on one mentorship sessions and then the women will be supported into starting and growing small businesses in cohorts.
